The team of engineers at ROUSH Performance set out to answer this question. Paying homage to the great F-150 Raptor platform that Ford has developed, ROUSH adds its vision for performance with its legendary balance of power and refinement – The Roush Ford F-150 Raptor redefines Detroit Muscle!
"It's pretty easy to just give a vehicle a lot of power," says Gary Jurick, General Manager of ROUSH Performance. "It's quite another to do so within a reliable package that will run in all environmental extremes and to do so in harmony with the vehicle as a larger system. As with all of our vehicle offerings, we put a tremendous effort in not only providing performance but in refining the package as well. It's pretty amazing to look at the raw performance of the ROUSH F-150 Raptor and in the same instant see how refined the package really is. This is especially evident when you see what this truck can do both on the street and off-road."
The 2014 ROUSH F-150 Raptor 6.2L features the same components as the 2014 model, but with some additions: Block R ROUSH fender and tailgate badges and ROUSH-embroidered leather head rests. Both models come with the ROUSH 3 year / 36,000 vehicle warranty. The ROUSH 2014 F-150 Raptor will be up-fitted with its performance upgrades in Plymouth, Michigan at the ROUSH Performance facility by ROUSH-certified technicians.
