The 2009 Honda VTX™ 1300 T Agree, Disagree? By Ozzy(Owner), Jan. 11, 2010 I own a vtx 1300-bought it new in 2008 when the tour first came out-was very very pleased -I paied cash for it straight up and my friends was saying -Get harley-Get a harley- I'm glad I didnt- my friend and I went to Sturgis this year in 2009 -he has a brand new harley fatboy 09 20k-after going to S... turgis he is wishing he didnt trade in his vtx 1800 now-the performance all the way there and back was perfect- handled excellent-cruzing between 75-95 up and back-48-51mph-2000 mile trip from washington to sturgis and back-I upgraded the exhaust to cobra slashdowns-hypercharger-for performance and tricked out the rest- you wont go wrong purchaseing this bike-This is a keeper to me.I tried to upload my pics of both bikes and at sturgis but its not in jpeg form sorry Read Full Review By Gary Kaufman(Owner), Dec. 15, 2009 Being an owner of three different motorcycles, prior to purchasing my VTX, I really can have an appreciation for this motorcycle. It's agile and light enough to be an everyday ride to and from work and comfortable and gas worthy for a long road trip. With a 4.8 gallon gas tank and a large comforta... ble riding seat at a perfect height this motorcycle has all the makings of a great cruiser at an affordable price. The V-twin 1300 has ample power to get up and go when needed. Riding conservatively you can go over 150 miles between fill ups. This touring model comes standard with a passenger back rest, saddle bags, and a windshield. The comfortable rear seat and back rest makes for an easy ride for my passenger. This motorcycle handles well, both at low speeds for turning and high speeds for cruising down the highway. The motorcycle hugs the turns like a pro and its weight is not affected by wind, like some lighter motorcycles of the same class. All the instrumentation is right in front of you, a top of the fuel tank, for an easy glance down while riding. I am delightfully happy with my VT1300T and recommend it to anyone who is thinking of upgrading from a smaller size bike. Happy cruising. Read Full Review 1-2 of 2 Reviews
